1. Frankenstein
This classic film was made in 1931. Boris Karloff was the
actor who played the Frankenstein monster. This movie is
based on the book "Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus"
written by Mary Shelley in 1818. In this story, Henry Frankenstein,
a scientist, creates a monster using body parts that he gathered

of make up preparation that included grease paint, wigs, and

A reptilian beast appears after a nuclear accident in this
1954 thriller. The Japanese movie was originally entitled
"Gojira". The actor who played the monster, Haruo Nakajima,
once passed out inside the heavy, non-breathable costume!
