Five Deep Sea Creatures
1. Fangtooth Fangtooth fish live in the deepest parts of the ocean. They have been found at 16,000 feet! But they usually reside between 600 to 6,000 feet. Their fangs are proportionally so long that two sockets have evolved to accommodate their fangs when their mouth is closed. But their teeth are harmless to humans.

2. Giant SquidGiant Squids are huge! Up to 43 feet (13 m) long! They have extremely large eyes that help them see in the dark of the deep ocean. Giant Squids are found in all the oceans, but are rare in tropical and amazon areas. They catch fish and other squid using their tentacles and bring the food to their beak where it is shredded by their tongue (called a radula) that has small teeth.
